Last night was our monthly Adelaide Retro Computing group meeting, with a theme of Retro console systems from prior to 2000. Of course naturally I brought my Amiga CD32 for a 2 player versus game competition for a prize on the night! We also saw some other very interesting and rare console systems on display!
This week I decided to take a look at Final Burn Alpha, released by HunoPPC for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition on my AmigaOne X1000!
This week saw the release of Enhancer Software bundle from A-EON for AmigaOS4. I took a look at it on my AmigaOne X1000.
Here is a quick update about my AmigaOne X1000. As regular readers on my blog know, my primary X1000 failed again in March this year, and is still broken as I write this, with a support ticket with Amigakit awaiting resolution. Hopefully it will be sorted out soon.
I am excited to say I received my Amiga CD32 today in the post!
This weekend I decided to focus on doing a couple of upgrades to my CDTV. This included adding Joystick and mouse support, 8MB fast memory, Workbench 3.1 extended CDTV ROMS, SCSI hard disk support and another go at the AztecMonster SCSI to CF Card converter too!
It occurred to me that I have not yet tried AROS Vision 68k on my Amiga 4000T, and with the announcement of an updated version recently I thought I would give it a go!
One of my planned projects for some time has been to add an Indecision ECS to the Amiga 1000. However this goal has continued to elude me for one reason or another, but I decided to give it another go this weekend.
